The Blind Side Film Review

The Blind Side Film Review Script

The “Blind Side” is based on the touching true story of Michael Oher who is a football player in the NFL.  Michael, played by Quinton Aaron, was a homeless teenager who, because of his size, was invited to play football by a local private high school coach.   When Leigh Anne Tuohy, whose children attended school with Michael, realized he had nowhere to live, she invited him into her home.  The heart of the movie involves Michael’s struggle with his learning disability and emotional problems and the powerful and strong connection he makes with the family.
The acting in this movie was superb and made the characters believable.  Sandra Bullock, who plays Leigh Anne Tuohy, gives an Oscar-winning performance.  Bullock skillfully portrayed Leigh Anne as a kind, yet determined woman who gave Michael the skills and the confidence to succeed.  Quinton Aaron, who plays Michael, makes the audience feel empathy for how Michael confronted his difficulties and was able to succeed.
The “Blind Side” was written and directed by John Lee Hancock, and had great box-office success, grossing over $300 millions. The film received an Academic Award Nomination for the Best Picture.
So Listeners, I recommend to you to watch this movie.
